The historic San Francisco de Asis or “Ranchos Church,” as it has become known, continues to be an integral part of the spiritual community of Taos and greater New Mexico. Like artists before me, including Georgia O’Keeffe and Ansel Adams, I have always been fascinated by its adobe contours and sculptural buttresses.
